Finding sites can be a time consuming process and sometimes it is difficult to know where to start.  There are services such as SpeedieBlogger and MyBlogGuest that you can join for free and post requests for places to add content to or accept content from – but you maybe feel you want to go it alone to start with.

If this is the case, your be first port of call is Google.  Use Google to hunt out a number of potential sites and then contact them directly via email to see if they accept content.  The easiest way to find these sites it to use the keyword you wish to rank for and then add some phrases such as:

• guest writer
• guest blog post writer
• submit post
• submit content
• submit blog article
• add article
• add blog post
• add content

So for example if you wanted to use dating as the keyword, you could use “dating add article” or “dating submit content” to find sites which could be good targets to approach.

As you will start to see this is not a quick process but one that can drive a lot of traffic and boost your search engine results if you put the effort in.
